Everything We Do

Platte Valley Tree Co. started in 2016 as a removal outfit: a bucket truck, a chipper, a stump grinder, and Wade Kucera taking down wind-split cottonwoods and borer-killed ash in rigged sections, the way a line-clearance crew works. Removal is still most of the job.

Plenty of calls now are for something else: the cottonwood stump left in the mowing line years ago, a silver maple that only needs its deadwood out, a pasture edge gone to redcedar, or an acreage lot along the Loup Power canal that has to be clean before a foundation goes in.

Every job starts with three questions: where is the tree, what could it hit, and whose is it? In Columbus a boulevard tree is a street tree, so you pull a Public Works permit before we remove it; a tree on your own lot needs none. Each service below has its own page and its own prices.
